In 1960, Frank Russell Abernathy and Ava Dell Giles Abernathy purchased the land that became Giles Shire.
Their ground became the ground of Viking Honey®.
III. The Return
Jimmy Giles went out into the world—through Mississippi State, the Sorbonne, Madison Avenue, and Germany.
Then he returned.
Without the return, there would be no Viking Honey®.
IV. The Bee
The bee is not kept by sentiment.
The bee is kept by work.
The hives are opened, read, and tended.
This is the work beneath the myth.

Giles Shire is revealed.

VI. The Birth of the Myth
At Giles Shire, the bee was never small.
Beyla gave the bee her sacred work. Thor stood over the hives. Huginn and Muninn carried thought and memory. Odin saw what had taken root. Heimdall guarded what lay beyond.
